I’m having a mid life crisis, and feel the need to push myself way outside of my comfort zone!!
I am jointly fundraising for Headspace and Bourton Vale Cricket Club and have given myself the (frankly ridiculous) task of walking the equivalent of 7 marathons in 7 days. Have I ever walked 26 miles in a day before? No. Am I getting old and carrying too much weight? Yes. Am I going to train like crazy for four months to give myself the best chance of completing this mad challenge? 100%
I am going to be walking daily inbetween the two cricket grounds the cricket club use, in Bourton on the Water and Lower Slaughter. 10 legs of 2.6 miles a day, 70 legs in the week….
If I am going to do this, I will need all the help, support and motivation I can get, so please help out and donate!!
I’d also love as many people to join me during the week as possible, if I can avoid walking a single leg on my own that would be incredible (especially towards the end of the week!)
