Blantyre Vics 2015s team are looking to challenge themselves with this muddy 5k while raising funds for a worthy cause.

After going to a vote we have chosen The Butterfly Trust as it is a cause very close to our hearts as one of our amazing players lives with Cystic Fibrosis and the challenges this brings, yet does not let it limit him or hold him back.

We hope to give something back as a thank you for the love and support he has received, and to help other families in a similar situation.

A bit about this amazing charity:

The Butterfly Trust was established in 2002 to provide face to face support to people affected by Cystic Fibrosis throughout Scotland.

Our services were set up to give the Cystic Fibrosis community of Scotland much needed social support in areas such as Disability related benefits, housing, employment and education.

Now in 2021 we are the leading provider of social support for people living with Cystic Fibrosis in Scotland.
