Tour de Paternoster · 5 June 2025

Returning for a second year, this amazing static bike challenge will pit companies against each other to see who can cycle the furthest, whilst also raising money for Future Dreams.

Story

TOUR DE PAT 2025

BW Workplace takes on the ride of the year – all in support of Future Dreams Breast Cancer Charity.

Every ten minutes, someone in the UK hears the words “you have breast cancer.” That’s over 50,000 people every single year – mothers, daughters, sisters, friends, colleagues.

This summer, BW employees are swapping their hard hats for helmets and getting on their bikes (lycra and all) for Tour de Pat 2025 – a 196-mile cycling challenge to Paris in aid of Future Dreams, a charity dedicated to supporting those affected by breast cancer.

How does it work?

On the day, teams will go head-to-head in a static bike showdown from 8:30am to 5:30pm in Paternoster Square.

Each team must complete 18 x 20-minute slots – racing to be the first to "arrive" in the French capital. It's going to be fast, fun, and fiercely competitive!

Why we’re riding

We're doing this for Future Dreams, a charity that offers vital practical, emotional and psychological support to women going through breast cancer.

To put it into perspective:

£2,000 raised will fund 58 people to attend a Body Confidence Workshop, helping to rebuild self-esteem and confidence after diagnosis and treatment.

How you can help

We’d be incredibly grateful for any donations – big or small – to help us reach our goal and support this truly meaningful cause.

Thank you for getting behind us and cheering us on as we pedal our way to Paris (without leaving the office!).

Donate now – and be part of the journey.
