I'm running the 2025 Hackney Half, in support of Positive East!

Positive East is East London's HIV/STI and sexual health charity. At the forefront of HIV service and care for over 30 years, the charity has a mission to improve the quality of life of individuals and communities affected by HIV, from the point of diagnosis through to longer term care.

I've been lucky to play a small role in some of Positive East's fundraising events over the last few years – most often, while wearing 6-inch heels. I'm very excited to shake things up and throw in my stilettos for a pair of chunky Asics.

The funds we raise will go towards a holistic range of health and well-being programmes – from counselling and workshops to HIV testing and prevention – making a direct and tangible impact in the lives of people living with HIV.
