Climb for CRY

Chung Hang, Leo, Hugo, James, and Seb is raising money for Cardiac Risk in the Young
In memory of a peer from school who passed away last year

3 Peaks Challenge · 25 June 2025

Each week at least twelve young people in the UK die suddenly as a result of undiagnosed heart conditions. At Cardiac Risk In the Young we aim to save young lives & to help those affected by young sudden cardiac death (YSCD). We do this by providing support, information & screening those affected.

Story

In memory of a friend from school who passed away last year from unexpected cardiac arrest, we're climbing the 3 Peaks Challenge from June 25-27th in support of CRY to help their charitable work pre-screening teens across the country.

We're looking to raise £2,400 for the 24 hours that we're aiming to do the challenge in.

Every week in the UK at least 12 apparently fit and healthy young people die of undiagnosed cardiac conditions.

With your donation, CRY can reduce the frequency of young sudden cardiac death (YSCD) by working with cardiologists and family doctors to establish good practice and appropriate screening facilities to promote and protect the cardiac health of our young.

By supporting CRY you will help save young lives from these potentially fatal cardiac conditions.
