This year, I’m taking part in the Mellon Educate Building Blitz in Cape Town, South Africa, where I’ll be joining a team of volunteers to help build and improve schools for children in under-resourced communities.

For one week, we’ll be on the ground working with hundreds of volunteers and locals to construct safe, functional learning spaces — because every child deserves access to quality education.

My fundraising target is £1,500, which will go directly towards materials, tools, and resources needed to support the building efforts.

Any contribution you can make, big or small, will go a long way in helping create better opportunities for children through education.
