Story
At the very last minute, I’m taking on the Miscarriage Association’s #StepUpforMiscarriage challenge by pledging to walk 250,000 steps – one step for each of the 250,000 pregnancies estimated to end in miscarriage, molar, or ectopic pregnancy in the UK.
This is a great chance to raise awareness about pregnancy loss, share the vital support services the Miscarriage Association offers, and raise funds to ensure they can continue to be there for those who need them most.
It’s also a great opportunity for me to start the new year with a positive challenge and some gentle exercise after my second miscarriage in October 2025. After 2 long years of trying to grow our family since my first miscarriage, we were heartbroken to discover that baby had no heartbeat at our 13 week scan.
If I can raise some money for the really important work that the Miscarriage Association do, it would take some of the sting out of starting the year without our rainbow baby.
