Story
Marie Curie is a charity that most of us will recognise, and many within our community are likely to know someone who has benefited from the invaluable support provided by the Penarth Hospice. The charity plays a vital role in supporting people living with terminal illnesses, as well as offering comfort, guidance, and practical assistance to their families during some of the most challenging times of their lives.
Through its dedicated nurses, hospice services, and bereavement support, Marie Curie helps individuals receive compassionate, dignified care when they need it most. The work they do has a profound impact on countless families, ensuring that no one has to face the end of life alone.
We want to support Marie Curie because it is a local charity that touches the lives of so many people in our community. At some point in our lives, many of us, our family members, or our friends may need the care, guidance, and support that Marie Curie provides. By fundraising and raising awareness, we hope to give something back to an organisation that is there for people when they need it most, helping to ensure these essential services continue to be available for future generations.
