Hi, my name is Samantha, I am the Head of Catering Operations for an amazing charity called incredABLE, thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Last year we had 3 teams participating in the marathon and we enjoyed it so much we have decided to do it again and again 3 café teams will be taking part in Belfast Marathon Relay on Sunday 4 May 2025 to raise funds for our parent company incredABLE.

Some of us have never ran before, some of us have a little experience and some of us are fitness fanatics as well as hospitality workers, together we are hoping to complete the relay and throw in a little team building and healthy competition along the way.

We all work across three unique social enterprise cafes in the Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council area, we help to create opportunities and pass on our knowledge and skills to those who want to begin their journey in the catering and hospitality industry and who just happen to have an intellectual/learning disability and/or autism.

Our target amount is £1,000 and every penny counts towards making a real difference to the lives of those who need it most – our incredABLE participants.

incredABLE's vision is a society where individuals with an intellectual/learning disability and/or autism are inspired, empowered and included. The approach is person-centred meaning incredABLE individuals are empowered to make choices, discover talents, realise passions and participate in community on their own terms.

Adult Short Breaks, camping trips and a chocolate product making day opportunity are among the services offered by incredABLE. The charity also operates our three amazing social enterprise cafés in the Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council area and we facilitate opportunities in the catering and hospitality industry and a 26-bed accessible residential centre in the heart of Co Down countryside called the ‘incredABLE Mourne Centre.”
