As we approach our "Iron" wedding anniversary in April 2025, we have set our sights on a few challenges.

Rachael will be running the London Marathon in April. She last ran this in 2015 but is hoping to beat her last time. She will run the marathon on the day of our wedding anniversary, so no trip to Jersey or fancy meal this year, if she is lucky we might share a sandwich on the train home!

Mark has set himself two challenges. Not one but two Ironman events. The half Ironman in Bolton in June and the full Ironman in Leeds on 27th July which consists of a 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike ride in the hilly Yorkshire Dales and a full marathon. All in same day starting from 7am and he has 17 hours to complete it and hopefully run down the famous red carpet.

This momentous occasion not only marks a decade since our last marathon, but also coincides with a significant milestone: Mark's 50th birthday.

In lieu of traditional gifts for Marks' birthday, we are dedicating this endeavour to raise funds for Tommy’s, the pregnancy and baby charity. This cause holds profound significance for us and countless individuals amongst our family and friends.
