Welcome to Caitlin and Elle’s fundraising page for the Brighton marathon 2026!

For those who know us well, we have both only really started consistently running over the last year/year and a half (thanks to Sam and FOMO), so this will be a significant challenge for us, and (hopefully) a very proud achievement.

We are raising funds for the stroke therapy department at UHCW, where Caitlin has worked for the last 2 years.

Stroke strikes every 5 minutes, with 100,000 people having strokes every year, and on our ward we have on average 4-5 new patients admitted every day.

All donations will be going towards purchasing additional therapy equipment that will enhance the rehabilitation and support available to our stroke patients. With your generous support we can help improve outcomes, independence and quality of life for those affected by stroke.

The Brighton Marathon is one of the UK's favourite 26.2-milers. With a stunning backdrop of the sea in one of the country's most vibrant cities, the race gets bigger and better every year. Renowned for its buzzing atmosphere and roaring crowd support, the course winds through the city streets, finishing up on the spectacular Brighton seafront.
