From Ian and Caitlin:
We're raising money for a fantastic Leicester-based charity called Hope Against Cancer.
Hope Against Cancer’s mission is to fund innovative research that leads to improved treatments and better outcomes for people with cancer in Leicestershire and Rutland. They do this by working in partnership with local universities and hospitals to ensure that Leicestershire remains a centre of excellence for cancer research and treatment to achieve the greatest impact in the local and national efforts to overcome cancer.
We will be swapping spreadsheets, teams meetings and creature comforts for a gruelling two days of hiking, scrambling, abseiling, caving and canyoning, a massive challenge for us 'soft office workers' (says Ian - Caitlin gets to pretend to be Rambo for a couple of days)
We've seen the horrendous impact that cancer has on people we love - Any contribution, big or small, will make a real difference to the amazing work that Hope Against Cancer do.
