Story
So as many of my friends and family know turning into this year was the first year in many I’ve gone into ketamine free, especially now since the decision to not make ketamine a class A from the government I want to raise awareness on the damage physically and mentally the drug can cause,
On my 21st birthday the 21st April I will be taking on a 15,000 feet skydive in honour to raise awareness and funds to help young people and show recovery is possible❤️
Last year I was below 6 stone relying on the substance daily stuck. my liver was failing my kidneys was failing my bowels wasn’t working properly a hole left in my bladder constantly in hospital constantly in agonising pain at deaths door, the lack of education on ketamine within some of the older generation is effecting young people getting the correct help so I have chosen to raise money and all funds donated will be donated to birchwood at kaleidoscope house residential a facility dedicated to helping individuals with ketamine addiction along with other substances and to guide them through recovery although never attended there myself they still help outside by contacting your support network to educate on the severity of ketamine and guide them on how to help correctly which is something Jo from birchwood done for me and helped massively with go impact into my help starting recovery and I will be eternally thankful
i chose my 21st birthday as i never was able to celebrate my 20th or 19th properly due to how ill i was from ketamine addiction showing others and myself who didnt think it was possible that it is and there is a whole world waiting for you it’s just a hard time now not forever❤️
So if you could take the time to share this around and any donations of any amounts are kindly appreciated and 100% of the funds raised will be sent over to birchwood after the jump on the 21st April 2026
Thank you Caitlin x
