Mind Mosaic are a wonderful Counselling and Therapy charity within Greenock who I volunteered with for 3 years. During this time, I seen the real impact that this organisation had on a small community of people who needed help. I then later used this charity myself to help deal with the sudden passing of my father in 2021, and it provided the most needed support to help me re-engage with University at this turning point in my life.

Mind Mosaic provides a safe space for people to discuss their trauma and anxieties with navigation and kindness. I am walking 23 miles in the Kiltwalk 2026 for those who need a voice, or that need an ear to listen to them. I am hoping that the money I raise, however large or small, can provide essential mental health care to a community which has some of the highest statistics in Scotland of alcohol and drug abuse, suicides and violence.

My main focus and hope is that with support and sponsorship, Mind Mosaic can tackle the issue of suicide prevention, and awareness of men's mental health in a healthy advocating way, that more people do not suffer in silence the way my brothers did. I want to do it for them, and all of the men like them.
