My name is Caitlin Nicole and I am very exited to say that I am a finalist for Miss Nottinghamshire Gb 2024! It would be a dream to then compete in Miss GreatBritain finals in October 2024 if I was to be crowned Miss Nottinghamshire! These next few months I am going to be doing some fund raising for the fantastic home start charity that supports the young children and parents in my own home town! What do home start Nottingham do? provides valuable guidance around policy, training, information and personal support, enabling us to respond to local needs, but having the quality of service derived from agreed national quality standards. Did you know these facts? 6 million children live in poverty, 93,000 children are in care, 1 in 10 children aged between 5 and 16 struggle with their mental health and 2 million children are regular witnesses to domestic abuse imagine how many children this is happening to in our home town! No matter how big or small your donation might be it will still be helping to changing lives for the better! “We want to see a society in which every parent has the support they need to give their children their best possible start in life” I am going to be running a 10k run in June for this amazing cause and I can’t wait to do more things to help support this amazing charity and help my home town!
