Caitlin O'Toole is raising money for Guy's & St. Thomas' Charity

London Marathon 2025 · 27 April 2025 ·

This campaign is for our amazing Guy's & St Thomas' Charity runners who are taking part in the TCS London Marathon 2025. The money raised will support GSTT to continue providing trailblazing & remarkable care.

Story

By running the London Marathon, I'll be supporting the incredible NHS staff and exceptional healthcare provided by Guy's and St Thomas'.

On 27th April I will be running the London Marathon to raise money for Guy’s and St Thomas’ Charity in memory of a wonderful friend, Toni.

Toni was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease while in hospital and spent months in and out of ICU before sadly passing away in October 23 aged only 22.

Guy’s and St Thomas’ not only provided second to none medical treatment to Toni but also continued support to her family and friends. I know that Toni and her family were so grateful for the care they received during such a challenging time.

Toni was an incredible woman who was so passionate about everything she did. In her memory, I hope to raise as much as I can so future patients and their families can be supported in the same way.

Your donations will help pioneer new approaches, support the on-going efforts to recover from the COVID-19 pandemic and back the remarkable teams through health and wellbeing programmes.

To give you an idea of the impact of your donation:

£10 can help improve rest areas so dedicated staff can properly recharge during long shifts.

£100 could help pay for one-to-one counselling for staff coping with the demands of working in a busy, high-pressured environment.

£350 could fund ground-breaking new research into treating Long COVID.

Thank you so much for your support!
