Story
I’m taking part in Strictly Inverness 2026, a special 15th anniversary year for this incredible fundraising event which supports Highland Hospice and Inverness Ice Centre — two charities that mean so much to people across our community.
My commitment is huge. Every dancer is expected to fundraise to the best of their ability, secure a corporate sponsor, and attend three one-hour training sessions every week from January to May to prepare for the big performances.
When the time comes, I’ll be stepping out onto the dancefloor in front of a panel of judges, receiving live scores, and performing to an audience of over 600 people!
It’s a massive challenge — physically, mentally and emotionally — but it’s all for two fantastic local causes, and I’m giving it everything I’ve got.
I would be incredibly grateful if you would consider supporting me in any way you can. Every donation truly makes a difference and helps keep me motivated on this journey.
This means so much to me as the Highland Hospice also helped support my family when my dad had cancer, he passed away in December 2003 but still to this day I can remember the amazing nurse and all the staff that was there for us as a family. Like many other family’s they have helped this funding is vital so they can carry on this amazing work
