World Down Syndrome Day and Month · 1 March 2025 to 31 March 2025 ·

It's World Down syndrome Day on the 21st March! Come and walk 21km with us around London's sights on Saturday 22nd of March! Help us raise important funds for Down's South London, a charity run solely by volunteer parents in South London.

Story

The 21st of March is World Down Syndrome Day (WDSD). I want to help raise awareness about Down syndrome, and raise funds for Down's South London.

Down's South London is a charity run solely by volunteer parents. For the last 7 years, I have worked as part of the therapy team at this amazing charity.

Your donations help to provide children with Down's syndrome in South London with vital and specialised therapies that they would otherwise not have access to.

Children access Speech & Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy. Their families also tap in to the most incredible community. This offering is unique in that it is free at the point of access, provides weekly specialised therapies, and invites families into the most supportive community. At a time when it is extremely difficult to access statutory services, and with private therapies being out of reach for many, DSL's provision is a real lifeline.

I would be so grateful if people could help by sharing my page, or consider making donations to the charity. Many thanks xx
