Hi everyone! In April 2026, my dad and I will be running the London Marathon to support refugees by raising funds for Team JRS UK. We are honored to be fundraising for such a great cause.

People who have been forced to flee their homes and seek sanctuary in the UK are often faced with destitution and hostility. Jesuit Refugee Service UK accompanies, serves and advocates for the rights of refugees - providing essential support like food, accommodation and advice as well as helping people to navigate a hostile asylum system.

After running my first marathon this year in Boston, I'm so excited for London! Running my first 26.2 was the hardest thing I've ever done, so you're probably curious why I'm jumping into another one already. As challenging as it was, the commitment to training, pushing myself to new limits every week, and accomplishing the biggest feat of my life made it the most rewarding experience and that's what's pushing me to run my second major.

In 2018, my dad ran the NYC Marathon and after a long hiatus and seeing me run my first marathon, he's ready and fired up for his second major too! We've truly come a long way from barely being able to finish the Annual Silicon Valley Turkey Trot. When I was in high school, my dad had to drag to the SAP Center on Thanksgiving Day for those races, and I hated every single one. Now we both love running (most of the time)!

As many of you know, I love London and am beyond grateful to be running this race with my dad in a city so close to my heart. This is another full circle moment for me going back to my study abroad in 2022. We're so excited to be fundraising as a father-daughter team and can't wait to share this journey with you. We're ready to tackle this new and exciting challenge together! Thank you so much, we are so grateful for each and every one of you.
