Story
Hi all!
On the first weekend of August, myself and 5 other friends will be crossing Snowdonia National Park to raise money in aid of the Clock Tower Sanctuary in Brighton. Over 3 days we’ll be cycling, hiking and kayaking 125 kilometres, which is a little scary to me, but the training has begun!😬☺️
The Clock Tower Sanctuary is an amazing, amazing, small charity, and the only day centre in Brighton and Hove for 16-25 year olds who are experiencing homelessness.
I volunteer at CTS on Saturdays so I see first hand the fantastic work they do. They don’t receive any statutory funding, so rely on lovely donors and supporters, like you, to keep the centre doors open.
If you can afford it, I’d really appreciate your support in fundraising to my target. No young person chooses to be homeless. CTS provides a stable space where young people in crisis feel safe and get the practical and emotional support they need to move into housing, education and training. CTS is open 5 days a week and in 2022, CTS provided 4,834 hot meals and hosted 2,915 unique visits to young people with nowhere else to turn.
By donating to my fundraiser, you'll be directly supporting young people in Brighton & Hove to move from Crisis to Stability. My birthday is also on 30th July, and if you were thinking of getting me a gift, donating a few quid here instead would be the best gift you could give me😉
