K2 has always called to me and next July 2024 I get to fulfill a lifetime dream to stand in its shadow and cross the Gondogorro La pass at nearly 6000 metres.

The trek covers 120km over 12-14 days and ascends the Baltoro Glacier through the heart of the Karakorum. The route passes 5 of the worlds highest mountains at over 8000m and ends in the ascent of the Gondogorro La pass having spent two nights at Concordia - K2 base camp.

I'm hoping to raise some much needed help for the amazing people at Hospice at Home - West Cumbria who have always been there for my sister Melanie as she finds her way. They've helped her cope in so many ways and I'd really appreciate each and every donation. I'm so grateful for what they do and really hope you can support them in some way.
