The ARRP headed by Lt Col (Retd) Baz Melia seeks to provide crisis intervention to those former members of The Rifles family suffering mental health issues including PTSD in the period before NHS and other mental health charities are able to react.
Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
As a Serving Soldier with 1st Battalion The Rifles I have decided to test myself physically and mentally with the following challenges.
27 May - Chester 100 Miler (1590m Ascent)
24 June - Wales/Snowdonia 50 Miler (2898m Ascent)
22 July - Brecon Beacons 60 Miler(3178m Ascent)
This is a charity very close to my heart.
The Always a Rifleman Programme (AARP) delivers support in the first few hours of an emerging crisis and paves the way to wellness. It is proven to save lives. During the most challenging real-life problems, it provides face-to-face coaching, mentoring and mental health support.
Thank you again for taking the time to read my page and appreciate any donation.
