Caldicott Charity Football Tournament in aid of Brain Tumour Research UK

After a successful launch last year, the charity fun run is back! In aid of Brain Tumour Research, we are holding a Caldicott community Funky Hat Fun Run on the afternoon of Friday 3 May. All boys and staff will be taking part in the event. We also extend the invitation to parents and family members to take part. It is a case of the more the merrier, and what a wonderful way to start the bank holiday weekend!

Distances

1st-3rd Forms 2x laps of the Spens course and up to the pavilion

Start Time: 15:20

4th-6th Forms 3x laps of the Spens course and up to the pavilion

Start Time: 15:30

Clothing

Boys will be asked to wear their sports kit and are also more than welcome to embrace the theme of wearing a funky hat and additional bright-coloured clothing. There will be a prize for the best-dressed boy in each year group and an extra special prize for the most creative hat design.

Donating

All boys will be asked to donate £5 which will be added to your end-of-term bill. If you do not wish to make this donation or would like to increase the amount, please email Ma'am Duncan jkd@caldicott.com. Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer… yet just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease. This is unacceptable!
