Jurassic Coast Ultra Challenge 2024 · 18 May 2024 ·

Weldmar Hospicecare makes every moment matter for adults in Dorset with a life limiting illness, in their last twelve months. Our specialist compassionate care, given in patients' own homes and at our hospice, comes from doctors, nurses, counsellors and therapists, for patients and their loved ones.

Story

On may the 18-19th 2024 I will be walking 100KM along the Jurassic coast fund-raising for a great cause, the Weldmare hospicecare.

Last year in may, my dad Mark Cheffey was diagnosed with an inoperable Glioblastoma Multiforme (Stage 4 cancerous Brain Tumour). It has been an incredibly difficult time over the past year as his health has declined more and more. He recently has been put in weldmare hospicecare in Dorchester. They have been amazing and truly caring since he has arrived there and I was inspired by my step brother Connor Webb who is also doing this 100km walk to raise money and fundraise for such an incredible organisation.

Any donations would mean the world, thank you for reading.
