Most people prepare for a trip across India by booking trains and hotels.

We decided to do it in a three-wheeled rickshaw.

In 2027, my uncle and I will be taking on the Rickshaw Run, driving a tiny, questionably reliable vehicle across India in what will almost certainly be the least efficient way possible.

To earn our place on the starting line, we're raising money for Cool Earth, a charity that works alongside Indigenous and local communities to protect rainforests.

Cool Earth takes a simple approach: instead of trying to protect forests from afar, they partner directly with the people who live in them. By supporting local communities with the resources they need, they help keep rainforests standing, protect wildlife, and strengthen livelihoods at the same time.

Healthy rainforests play a huge role in storing carbon, preserving biodiversity, and supporting countless species—including us. Protecting them is one of the most effective ways to make a lasting impact on the planet.
