Running for Refuge (2026)

Caleb Mellen is raising money for Refuge
“12 Half Marathons”
Refuge opened the world’s first refuge in West London in 1971. We support thousands of women & children every day, experiencing domestic and sexual violence, female genital mutilation, forced marriage, stalking, trafficking, prostitution & so-called ‘honour’ based violence.

Story

During 2025 I discovered an interest in running and completed my first Half Marathon. I’m equally committed to giving back, and supporting meaningful causes is an important part of who I am.

In 2026, my goal is to complete 12 Half Marathons while raising funds for Refuge — the UK’s largest specialist charity supporting women and children escaping domestic abuse. My employer, Elis UK, has partnered with Refuge before, and I’m proud to continue that connection and contribute in my own way.
