At nearly 29 years old, I feel like it's time I do something to not only challenge myself, but to give back to people who give so much to others, so here I am running the Royal Parks Half Marathon.

Wish me luck as anybody who knows me personally, knows I am not built for running haha.

Having lost several family members to cancer over the years and with my step mum currently going through the cancer battle, and my girlfriend being a real life survivor of Leukemia, this cause sits close to my heart and made the most sense.

I decided to pick the Royal Marsden Hospital as this is the hospital my girlfriend received her treatment from for her Leukemia.

Having met some of the nurses and doctors who cared for during her treatment, I can honestly say what a lovely bunch of caring individuals they all are, and what an exceptional hospital facility they have!

If you have any spare cash, no matter much how big or small, I can assure you it is going to a great cause!!
