At Callerton Academy we have a moto 'Create your future’. ​

We believe we offer a fantastic education as well as an enriching personal development programme all wrapped up in our Callerton Pledges. ​

These are not just posters on our walls or pages in our prospectus. ​

​

Our staff build these into everything they do. We listen to our students and our wider school community and look for opportunities to bring our pledges to life.​

One such opportunity was raised via our student parliament in 2024 – looking at how we can improve our local community, take part in charity work and do some good for the environment. After the success of this week in 2024 we will be running another Charity week in 2025!​

During charity week Callerton Academy students and staff will be collecting food, raising money, being charitable with their time and taking on the 'Big Callerton Charity Walk' walking throughout Newcastle's parks across a full day all to build a better future for ourselves and our communities.​
