I'm fundraising for Southend Mencap - a charity that is very close to me. I have been involved with various fundraisers over the last 20 years including a tough mudder in 2018 and helping my Mum at raffle events selling tickets.

Southend Mencap's main aim is to serve the interests and needs of children and adults with learning disabilities as well of those of their parents and carers in Southend, Rayleigh, Rochford and Castle Point. The Charity was formed in 1955 which makes this a very special year for Southend Mencap as they are celebrating 70 years.

Training for this bucket list goal of mine has been tough but knowing I am running for such a great cause has made it easier and inspires me to push on.

I really appreciate any donation you give however small. Every penny given will continue to provide much needed services for this amazing group of people.
