Story
While on Strava the other week Farley’s account popped up and I began looking through his account. I saw all the rides he used to go on and this hit me pretty hard, on one of his rides he rode to Colchester football club.
A couple days later I saw the Walsall fc foundation post about tour de midlands. This is where you ride 40miles around the midlands stopping off at Villa Park, St Andrews, Molineux, The Hawthorns and the Pallet-Track Bescot Stadium during the challenge. It felt like it was meant to be. So on the 7th June I will be taking part in my first charity bike ride.
The 40-mile route will take in the region's professional football grounds - stopping off at Villa Park, St. Andrews, Molineux, the Hawthorns and the Pallet-Track Bescot Stadium during the challenge.
The event will start and finish at the iconic Alexander Stadium - the largest athletics venue of its kind in the UK.
All of my proceeds will go to Walsall FC Foundation, the club's official charity, to help continue their fantastic work to help change lives through football in our local community.
We will join others representing the Aston Villa Foundation, Birmingham City Foundation, Wolves Foundation and the Albion Foundation, to put pedal to the metal in support of our club charity's work across the local community.
Please support and donate if you can!
