Story
I'm running the Glasgow to Edinburgh Ultra marathon in October this year as my personal charity challenge for MND Scotland. It will be an extremely difficult challenge that I'll be giving my absolute all to and will be attempting to not only complete the 92km, 57 miles, but will be trying to do so in as quick a time as possible. I am very lucky to be able to push my body in the way that I do, when others are in a less fortunate position.
Since I last raised money for MND Scotland in April last year, my family & I have had to rely on the charity, with some aides & assistance needed for my Mum both currently, and in the future. As always, their support has been invaluable. We don't know what the future will hold, as is the case for so many families, but we will keep fighting this horrible disease together.
MND Scotland is the only Scottish charity providing care and support to people affected by Motor Neuron Disease (MND), as well as funding research to take us a step closer to a cure. I’m fundraising because I want to help find a cure for this devastating disease.
Thank you so much for any donations. They really are greatly appreciated ❤️
