Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On Saturday 29th of August, I will be attempting to run a marathon but with a twist. Every 1 mile, I will complete 100 burpees.
This will be structured as a 1 mile loop near my home, followed by 100 burpees in my garage. This will be repeated 26 times, with a 320m run to finish off. This will be tracked via GPS/strava, as well as video evidence.
My chosen charity is The National Autistic Society.
1 in 7 people are neurodivergent. 1 in 100 are diagnosed with Autism. Thus meaning that there are around 31,000 people in Wales alone who are diagnosed with autism - some of whom are a close relation of mine.
What do The National Autistic Society do?
‘’We're here to help the 700,000 autistic people in the UK and their families. Be it running specialist schools, campaigning for improved rights or training companies on being more autism-friendly, we are dedicated to transforming lives and changing attitudes.’’
Times are incredibly tough at the moment, and with that in mind, I would be grateful for any donations. If you’re not in a position to donate, you’re welcome to come along and support me on the day.
Thank you.
