Story
In July 2024 I suffered a brain haemorrhage which led to me having a stroke. My stroke resulted in losing all use of the right hand side of my body and most of my ability to speak. In the past 2 years I’ve worked really hard to learn to walk again and my speech is improving.
The brain surgery has made me determined to live my life as much as I possibly can and abseiling down the stadium of my favourite football team on Saturday 16th May 2026 is part of this.
I would be really grateful if you could help me raise us much as possible to support this cause which is close to my heart. Details below of the work that they carry out.
Thank you,
Callum
Every year approximately 100,000 people will have a stroke in the UK and a quarter of these will happen to people of working age or younger and it is the single biggest cause of disability. Different Strokes is the only charity dedicated to younger stroke survivors to provide active peer support through information, advice and rehabilitation services.
Please support me in my challenge to abseil from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and to raise as much money as I can for this cause close to my heart - Thank you!
