Story

💙 In Memory of Callum Campbell 🧸

On 6th June 2025, we said goodbye to Callum—our much-loved husband, brother, son, nephew, cousin, and friend—far too soon, at just 34.

Callum was diagnosed with a brain tumour in July 2024, after experiencing seizures that brought real fear and uncertainty. And yet—true to who he was—the very next day, he went to Belladrum Festival to enjoy music, friends, and joy with his wife. That was Callum: meeting everything with quiet bravery, kindness, and humour.

Following surgery in January 2025, he was told he had a grade 3 Oligodendroglioma—a rare brain cancer that should have given him years, not months. Sadly, Callum later suffered a DVT and pulmonary embolism. Despite every effort from paramedics, he passed away too soon.

Even through it all, Callum kept living fully—loving deeply, laughing often, and always showing up for others.

He died in a place that felt like home: Greenhill, Culbokie—his in-laws’ house, where he felt safe, happy, and surrounded by love.

We’re raising funds in his memory for Friends of the Neuro Ward, the charity that supported Callum and his family throughout his treatment. Their work made a real difference—providing specialist equipment for his awake craniotomy and creating peaceful day rooms where we could wait close by. Callum found comfort there—and even made lasting friendships.

Callum gave more than he ever asked for—loving, funny, and endlessly kind.

If you'd like to honour him, donations can be made here in place of flowers. Every contribution helps others feel the same care and compassion that meant so much to him.

Thank you for helping us carry forward Callum’s love, laughter, and warmth. 💙
