The Lochhead fundraiser for PAPYRUS Prevention of Young Suicide

Alison Lochhead is raising money for PAPYRUS Prevention of Young Suicide
In memory of Callum Lochhead
PAPYRUS is the national charity for the prevention of young suicide. We run HOPELINE247 0800 068 4141 a freephone confidential helpline staffed by trained professionals who give advice, support & information to anyone who is feeling suicidal, or concerned that a young person they know may be at risk

Story

Callum was so happy, busy, kind, funny, sociable and sporty, and he loved life and lived it to the full, until anxiety and depression took hold in the summer of 2025. As a family, we contacted Papyrus several times during the months when Callum was unwell. They provide support to individuals who are struggling, aswell as to the people who are trying to support them.

PAPYRUS is the national charity for the Prevention of Young Suicide.

Suicide is the biggest killer of young people under the age of 35 in the UK, every year over 1800 young people take their own lives. PAPYRUS provides confidential support and advice to young people struggling with thoughts of suicide, and anyone worried about a young person through their helpline, HOPELINE247.

Every £15 raised can contribute towards a life-saving contact to HOPELINE247. Your donations really are changing lives, thank you.
