Story
Hello!
Thank you for taking the time to look at my fundraising page!
As some of you know I've been growing my hair for... well, quite a while now.
I can't be sure how long it's taken, but I've always had a goal in mind, to eventually chop it all off and donate it to the Little Princess Trust!
The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or to other conditions such as Alopecia.
The charity is also one of the largest funders of childhood cancer research in the UK.
Once my hair has been cut, myself & Meg will be lacing up our walking boots and hiking the scenic route from our home near Church Stretton to the Little Princess Trust headquarters in Hereford! 🥾🥾
Our aim is to take 2 days to cover the 50+ miles. Each day our route will be at least 26.2 miles (marathon distance).
We will begin the hike on Saturday, July 8th! Let us know if you want to join us for a stretch of the walk!
My aim is to raise £700, the average cost to provide a wig for one child or young person.
100% of the money raised online/offline will be going directly to The Little Princess Trust. Any costs incurred will be covered by myself (haircut/accommodation/food/dog sitting etc).
Thanks again, your generosity is much appreciated :)
Many thanks,
Callum.
The Little Princess Trust relies solely on the generosity of its wonderful supporters who help the charity give Hair and Hope to so many children and young people with cancer each year.
