Story
Hello everyone, my dad and I are taking on our next adventure to Mount Everest Base Camp from September 20th to October 4th for our chosen charity The Sydenham's Chorea Association (SCA).
Everest Base Camp sits at 17,598 feet (5,364m) and reaching it requires a challenging 14-day trek through the Himalayas, facing altitude, difficult terrain and pushing our limits every step of the way.
Sydenham's Chorea a neurological disorder, entered my life when I was just 7 years old. It impacted my ability to do everyday things like walk, talk and eat. My journey included months at Yorkhill Children's Hospital in Glasgow. Through it all, I learned resilience and the importance of never giving up. We want and will make a meaningful impact for those affected by Sydenham's Chorea.
The Sydenham's Chorea Association plays a crucial role in supporting individuals and families affected by this condition. They provide invaluable resources, organise educational events and fund vital research. Every donation helps improve lives and brings us closer to understanding and managing this condition effectively.
Join us on this journey, not just to conquer mountains, but to support a cause that touches my heart deeply. Your generosity will make a real difference in the lives of those facing challenges similar to what I've overcome.
Thank you for being a part of this incredible journey.
Every step counts. Every donation matters.
