I am taking part in the London Marathon 2026 with Team Whizz Kidz!

Hi i'm Callum, 29 years old and this is my first time raising money for Whizz Kidz, I have been running at a enjoyment level for the best part of 15 years, I have run various park runs, 10k's, 20k's and numerous half marathons. I am excited for the challenge that running a marathon will bring to my never ending love of running and fitness.

As mentioned to be choosen to represent Whizz Kidz is truly amazing, sadly throughout my working career in the funeral industry I have met many people from all walks of life. We meet people at their saddest of times and tat can be a challenge, especially when you being to learn of the wonderful family member they have sadly lost, many of which have been young wheelchair users, you being to understand just how strong these young individulas are, when we are younger, we take or granted what we have, so this gives me the chance to try and help as much as I possible can, and I call upon you to help me too. The inspiration these young children/adults have in nothing short of inspiring, thye keep the smile on their faces all day everyday no matter what obsticles they may have to overcome, if I can help one young wheelchair user during my time as a Whizz Kidz team member it will give me huge satisfation and pride, and hopefully it will inspire the next person to do the same. Together we can make a huge difference.

Whizz Kidz is the UK's leading charity supporting young wheelchair users up to 25 years old. More than 75,000 young people in the UK need a wheelchair to be mobile. Most have no access to a wheelchair that’s right for them, leaving them at risk of social isolation, poor mental health and physical injury.

Whizz Kidz provide the right equipment, skills and confidence young wheelchair users need to go further, whilst campaigning for a more open and accessible society.

Every donation will get Whizz Kidz closer to their vision of a society in which every young wheelchair user is mobile, enabled and included.
