Hiking for our loved ones! 🥾❤️

I’m very are very excited to share that myself, Debs & Emma will be participating in a 26-mile hike along the Jurassic Coast to raise funds for MacMillan Cancer Support! This epic hike will take us through the UNESCO World Heritage site, which is known for its dramatic cliffs (of which, we’ll be climbing 700m!). This will be a massive challenge for us but we’re excited to do it together! We are supporting a cause close to our hearts, which has unfortunately affected us and our loved ones significantly. 💔

I’m hiking in memory of my Dad, Michael Randall and my Mother in Law, Debbie Sherwood. 💞

My Dad was diagnosed with primary stomach and secondary oesophageal Cancer on 26th October 2022 and passed he away just five weeks later on 1st December 2022, aged 60.

My Mother in law, Debbie was diagnosed with the same Cancer as my Dad in March 2023 and died a year later on 18th March 2024, aged 57

Losing them both has affected me massively and not a day goes by where I wish something out there could have cured them and everyone else fighting this terrible illness. 💔

Emma’s experience of cancer was losing her Auntie Di in 2017 who she was living with at the time. Her Auntie was diagnosed with cancer on 5 July 2017 and passed away just 10 days later on 15 July 2017, aged 61.

Emma’s Mum Tina was then diagnosed with cervical cancer the following year, in February 2018 and died 19 months later in October 2019 on her 59th birthday.

She’s also recently lost her Uncle Les in November 2024 to lung cancer.

Debs is taking on this challenge for her brother, who bravely survived throat cancer! 💞☺️

These are our personal stories of why we are taking on this epic challenge and what will push us on for every mile and every meter of elevation! ❤️
