Story
Om Friday the 15th of May, Calm 84 FC crewe, are taking on an Arena XI at the mornflake stadium in Crewe.
Calm 84 are a charity football team, whos ethos is to help increase mental health support, and to decrease the amount of suicides, and the devastating impact that it causes.
The 84 in our name represents the amount of men in the UK that take thetr own lives, this is far too high of a number, and is something we would love to see reduce as much as possible.
Any donations, no matter how big or small are greatly appreciated.
We’re raising money this match for the charity our team are named after, Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM), who are a suicide prevention charity. They have got loads of tools and resources to help people find the support they need, including a life-saving helpline for people who can’t see a way forward, have lost someone to suicide, or are worried about their friends or loved ones.
£12.20 is enough to fund one potentially life-saving call.
