Story
On the 6 September our family will take on a 24 mile trail across the Gower Peninsula in honour of our wonderful Mum, Nan, and Nonna.

Everyone who met my Nan, even just once, knew how wonderful she was. Joanie was someone who made everyone feel ‘seen’. Her love, warmth, and humour was unmatched and she was undoubtedly the best Nan I could have wished for. She loved us all unconditionally and we loved her immensely.
Nan was always fit and active. An Olympic gymnast herself, and incredibly supportive of my Gramps and the numerous marathons he ran during his life. Walking a marathon would definitely get Joanie’s approval, and I know she’ll be with us every step of the way.
The team at Marie curie ensured Nan spent her final days in comfort and surrounded by her loved ones. They were wonderful and I would love to raise as much money as I can so they can continue to help other families like ours.
£3 helps fund a meal for a patient in one of our hospices.
£26 helps help fund an hour of bereavement support by phone or webchat.
£207 helps fund nine hours of overnight nursing care in a patient's home.
All the money raised will help Marie Curie provide vital care and support to people living with a terminal illness, and their families at the toughest time.
