Over 150,000 of us in the UK have MS. It’s unpredictable and different for everyone. But it doesn’t have to be this way. We’re the MS Society. We understand what life’s like with MS. We're here for you through the highs, lows and everything in between. Together, we are strong enough to stop MS.

Story

As many of you may know, my sister Karen has been bravely battling Multiple Sclerosis (MS). Watching the effects of this condition on someone so close to me is truly heart-wrenching. However, we cannot simply sit back and wait for change; we must take action. That’s why I am once again fundraising to support the Multiple Sclerosis Society in their quest to find a cure and develop treatments that can slow the progression of this disease. Currently, there is no cure available, only modifying drugs, and unfortunately, my sister has reached a stage where many of these options are no longer viable.

I have always found joy in climbing mountains, but I am acutely aware that this is no longer a possibility for her. This realization drives home the importance of seizing opportunities while we can because life can change in an instant. In September 2025, I will embark on a personal challenge to climb Manaslu, standing at an impressive 8,163 meters. This majestic peak dominates the Mansiri-Himal subrange of the Himalayas and is known for its sharp, picturesque summit.

To help me achieve this ambitious goal, I have partnered with Elite Exped. My journey will begin on September 4th, 2025, and will last approximately 40 days as I strive to reach new heights—not just physically but also in raising awareness and funds for MS research.

I am personally Funding this full expedition with the Charitable support From my Companys The Bay Fish and Chips and my Coaching Business Forked Up, meaning ALL money raised will go to MS Society.
