SERVICE TO SUMMIT – A PRESSURE PASS PROJECT
Climbing Mount Everest for Hospitality Action
April 12 – June 4, 2026
By Calum Richardson
In April 2026, I’ll be climbing Mount Everest to raise awareness for the hidden pressures and mental struggles faced every day by people in the hospitality industry.
This climb is more than a personal challenge — it’s a symbol of the “mountains” our industry battles: burnout, stress, exhaustion, financial pressure, and the feeling of having to keep going even when you’re breaking.
I’m doing this in support of Hospitality Action, a charity that steps in when hospitality workers hit crisis point — offering mental health support, financial help, and a lifeline when it’s needed most.
❤️ Why I’m Climbing
Because the pressure in hospitality is real.
Because too many people suffer in silence.
Because our industry deserves support.
This project is my way of saying: you matter, and you’re not alone.
🙏 All Donations Are Welcome
Every donation — big or small — helps someone in hospitality who’s struggling right now.
Your support genuinely makes a difference.
🏔️ Sponsorship Opportunities
Businesses can join the project as official sponsors — with opportunities for:
• Summit flag placement
• Branding on my summit suit
• Social media visibility
• A post-expedition talk
