National Three Peaks Challenge · 5 May 2024

1 in 5 children in the UK are affected by their parents' alcohol problems. They are often frightened and isolated, with no one to turn to for help. Nacoa responds by providing a free, confidential telephone, 1-2-1 chat and email helpline.

Story

On the 5th May, a group of friends and I will be attempting to complete the National Three Peaks Challenge. This challenge entails climbing the highest mountains in England, Scotland, and Wales within 24 hours.

It's a personal trek that holds great significance for us as we aim to raise funds for The National Association For Children Of Alcoholics (Nacoa), a relatively small charity dedicated to offering information, advice, and support for children affected by a parent’s drinking. Our goal is to raise £1,000 to support this vital cause. We believe that every child deserves a safe and nurturing environment, and by taking on this challenge, we hope to advocate for their well-being. Your support can make a real difference in the lives of these children.

Any donation would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
