I have taken up a challenge to raise money for RSPCA Norwich and run my furthest ever race, The Blickling Half Marathon on Sunday 16th March 2025.

I will be following a proper training plan from 10 weeks out from the race and getting the foundation of my fitness in the legs up until then. If you would like to follow my journey, I will be connecting up my Strava and providing small updates on how the training is going.

RSPCA Norwich are a local charity who rescues, rehabilitates and rehomes animals, operating 2500sq miles from Mid Norfolk to North Suffolk.

Last year they cared for over 400 animals, as well as supporting those in most in need with financial aid and pet food banks. As a spaniel owner and dog-lover, I wanted to raise money for this important cause.

They do a fantastic job and have a fantastic team, that receives no government funding and rely on grants and donations. Any money that can be donated will massively benefit the charity. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
