This year, St Bart's Lower Cam, St John's Slimbridge and St Bartholomew's Coaley are taking part in Ride+Stride to raise funds for both Gloucestershire Historic Churches Trust (GHCT) and our three churches.

As part of the event, we will be completing a circular sponsored walk from St Bart's, Lower Cam to St John's, Slimbridge, then on to St Bartholomew's, Coaley, before returning to St Bart's. We'd love you to join us for all or part of the route as we enjoy the Gloucestershire countryside while supporting a worthwhile cause.

The money raised will help support the improvement, restoration and repair of our own church buildings, while also contributing to the vital work of GHCT in caring for and preserving the wider network of historic churches across Gloucestershire and North Bristol through its grants programme.

Ride+Stride is a fun and rewarding National event where participants seek sponsorship to visit churches by walking, cycling, horseback, public transport or even by car. Whether you take part with others from your church or join in as an individual, every mile travelled and every pound raised helps protect these treasured buildings for future generations.
