Story

Cam FM returns this year with its award-winning Lent Bumps commentary & 24 hour charity broadcast and we are concurrently raising money in support of Clarissa's Campaign, in memory of Clarissa Nicholls.

If you are enjoying the broadcasts, we ask that you consider a donation to this wonderful cause, and check out Clarissa's Campaign (@clarissascampaign)!

Clarissa studied French and Italian at Trinity Hall and was due to graduate last summer. She lived life better than any of us - her love, positivity, ambition and achievements were boundless. Heartbreakingly, just before her 21st birthday, Clarissa collapsed and passed away from an undiagnosed heart condition.

In cooperation with Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY), Clarissa’s family and the University, we have started an ECG heart screening service at Cambridge to prevent further tragedy. Thanks to the kind support of so many we have been able to carry out four screening days so far and are striving to fund many more.

Thank you for helping us to save young hearts, and for joining our celebration of Clarissa as she so deserves.
