Story

Flake it 'til you Make it! 🥐

Hello! We're graduates representing the North West & Wales in a fundraising challenge between regions - aiming to raise a 'serious amount of dough' for Lidl's partner the NSPCC. 🙌

Camrin and Owen have decided to take on the Croissant Climb!🧗

Across February we'll be visiting our local NSPCC base before taking on the winter challenge of climbing Snowdon - not only that we'll be setting off 25km away from our Bangor Store! 🛒

Why Climb Snowdon dressed head-to-toe as Croissants? 🥐

To celebrate Lidl and the NSPCC's partnership which has raised over £10 million since 2017. Lidl's ever-popular All-Butter Croissant together with a fundraising challenge for the NSPCC is simply a batch made in heaven!

Lidl's donations help to support NSPCC Childline, giving children and young people a place to turn to when they most need it. Childline is a free, confidential service, available 24/7 to provide support to children and young people in the UK. On average, a child contacts Childline every 45 seconds, with mental and emotional health being the top concern raised. Your donations ensure that young people always have someone to talk to!

After working with children for the past three years, this only reinforces our admiration for their work and fuels our desire to raise as much money as possible to support them - even if that does mean taking on such a challenge dressed as croissants!

A word from The NSPCC:

The NSPCC is the leading children's charity fighting to end child abuse in the UK and Channel Islands. We help children who have been abused to rebuild their lives, protect those at risk, and find the best ways of preventing abuse from ever happening.

Every child deserves the best possible chance to rebuild their life after abuse.

That’s why we’re here. That's what drives all our work. And that’s why – as long as there’s abuse – we will fight for every childhood.

On behalf of us both and the NSPCC, we're sincerely grateful and truly appreciate your donations, big or small, and support!

Camrin & Owen 😊
