Hello!

By now all my friends and family will probably be aware that I’m running the Edinburgh Marathon on Sunday 26th May 2024. I’m looking to raise some money for my niece Evie’s drama school, Shining Stars, based in Coatbridge. Shining Stars is an Additional Support Needs Drama School catered towards people of all ages with disabilities.

My niece Evie, now 17 years old, has cerebral palsy and learning difficulties but has come on leaps and bounds and that, in a large part, can be attributed to the guys at Shining Stars who she spends several days a week with. At Shining Stars Evie is welcomed into an environment with other kids and adults alike who bring out the best in her and undoubtedly make her a more confident teenager.

Shining Stars is a fantastic community organisation who make a lasting difference to the lives of the kids and adults that attend. I’d be extremely grateful for any donations, however big or small, to ensure they can continue to positively impact the lives of the students that attend there. They deserve it more than anyone.
