Story
Earlier this year my mum was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer after going to the doctor with very little symptoms.
Unfortunately the illness was devastating and she passed away 12 weeks after diagnosis.
I had explained to her before she passed I wanted to do something for charity and this seems fitting.
On Friday 11th July, Myself, Ben, Harry & Owen are going to attempt to play 100 holes of golf in 1 day. It equates to roughly between 50-60km of walking while playing golf. This is going to be some feat if we can manage it, as it requires us to play each round in just under 3 hours.
The charity we have chosen, in memory of my mum, is the Fountain Centre based at the Royal Surrey Hospital. They support cancer patients and their families from diagnosis and beyond. This is done by providing the highest quality information, psychological support and complementary therapies through their cancer diagnosis and treatment, with the aim of supporting and enriching their emotional, physical and spiritual well-being.
